Pledging your monthly support through our Circle of AGE
Donating to our annual campaign
Since 1986, Austin Groups for the Elderly has been committed to serving seniors, their caregivers, and their families in the
Central Texas. Our programs include:
- Elderhaven, the only two licensed Adult Day Centers for medically
vulnerable seniors,
- Caregiver Resource Center, a free informational center for the caregivers
of older adults
- SeniorNet, a peer-to-peer senior computer literacy program.
In-Kind Gifts
- Wii Wireless Controllers and senior-friendly games for PC or Wii. These are used in memory
and cognitive therapy for seniors with Alzheimers disease and used to help disabled seniors
practice motor skills.
- Durable medical equipment, like wheel chairs, shower chairs, shower transfer benches,
scooters. This equipment is donated to low-income seniors and disabled individuals to help
seniors
be more independent and safe in their own communities. We partner and provide
free equipment
to 12 other non profits serving seniors and the disabled.
- Digital Camera and Camcorder.
- Cash, PayPal and gift card donations are always welcome.
